A whole new world.
My new Toshiba Satellite T215 arrived today. After going with IBM and HP for years, I enter a new territory with Toshiba. The decision was mainly influenced by my Ukrainian computer guy Yuri, who said that Japanese-made laptops typically last longer. So after a futile search for a cheap motherboard for my HP tablet PC (which I loved dearly), I went with a new laptop. Slightly bigger, more powerful (has x-ray vision and can leap tall buildings in a single bound) but still super-slim and lightweight. I’m loving it and I promise to take good care of it. My bold prediction: I’ll make this last at least 5 years! Now, if I can only get Mimzy not to take a nap on it…
