Looking for contacts for logistics, customs for sending wheelchairs to the Philippines
We are in the process of forming Able Health Initiative, a non profit US-based charitable organization that aims to provide used, functional durable medical/rehab equipment (standers, walkers, wheelchairs) and other therapy supplies/equipment (orthotics, splints, aug comm devices, etc.) to indigent patients in the Philippines. We have already received 1 Kid Kart/special needs stroller, with more pledges of equipment ready for pick up.
Currently, we are establishing a system for sending these equipment to the Philippines. Any information regarding the logistics for shipping such equipment to the Philippines, particularly through customs, would be very much appreciated.
